About me
In 1994 I graduated from the renowned Faculty of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Science of Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz in Germersheim with a translation degree ( Diplom-Übersetzerin ) in English and Italian, complementary subject: Law.
In the same year I began working as a freelance translator, first in Dublin, later in my home town of Hamburg.
From 1997 to 2015 I was a sworn translator for English and Italian, authorized for the courts and notaries within the jurisdiction of the Regional Court in Lüneburg.
Since 2015 I have been an authorized translator for English and Italian for the courts and public prosecutors' offices in the Land of Schleswig-Holstein.
Since 1999 I have been a member of ADÜ Nord e.V. (professional association of interpreters and translators).
